“We saw that there were irregularities, it was natural for us to ask because our family saw that our brother’s body condition was not intact. His head was swollen, his nose was broken and bleeding, his head also had serious injuries, there was a hole next to his eye. We object to his death,” said one family who claim to be the younger brother of Nurmala.

“We made a report to the Medan Polrestabes because we did not accept the death of our Namboru. We only saw the body from the photo. It turned out that beside Namboru’s eye, I said it was because he often slept on his right side, we asked for our Namboru’s body to be autopsied to find out what the cause of his death was ,” he said.
When confirmed CNNIndonesia.com, Public Relations of the H Adam Malik Hospital Medan Rosa said the patient died with a positive Covid-19 status with comorbid stage 4 breast cancer. In addition, the patient also had an eye infection.
“The clarification that we can convey is that the patient died with a positive Covid-19 status accompanied by co-morbidities of stage 4 (late stage) breast cancer which the patient had suffered from several years ago and has spread to several parts of the body. The patient also has an eye infection so that He was also consulted to an ophthalmologist for further treatment,” he explained.
Rosa said the commotion occurred because the family questioned the cause of the patient’s death. Rosa denied that there were irregularities in the body, such as a bloody nose and holes next to the eyes.
