He Ministry of Health of Córdoba reported that this Friday 180 new infections were registered and two deaths from Covid-19 throughout the provincial territory.
Of the newly infected, 85 correspond to Córdoba capital and 93 to the interior. This is the distribution by departments:
- Colon: La Calera 1; Mendiolaza 1.
- General San Martin: Villa Maria 2.
- Juárez Celman: General Cabrera 8.
- Marcos Juarez: Corral de Bustos 2; The Surgentes 12.
- Punilla: Bialet Massé 2; Cosquin 4; Santa Maria 1; Villa Carlos Paz 11.
- Fourth quarter: They will ruffle 2; Colonel Moldes 2; city of Río Cuarto 7; Saint Basil 3; Vicuña Mackenna 5.
- Second River: Oncative 3; Pillar 1.
- Santa Maria: High Grace 17; Cliffs 4.

Of the total cases, 114 are linked to close contacts of previously confirmed cases, two are imported from La Plata and 64 are under investigation.
Surveillance
In addition, this Friday two cases were reported to the National Health Surveillance System (SNVS), corresponding to people with residence in the province of Buenos Aires, but with legal domicile in Unquillo and San Alberto.
In this way, the province of Córdoba has registered a total of 182 new cases to date and a cumulative of 5,540 cases.
During the day, two people died of coronavirus in the province of Córdoba: a 79-year-old man, a native of Monte Buey; and an 83-year-old woman from Vicuña Mackenna. Both people were hospitalized and had a history of previous pathologies. To date, there have been a total of 94 deaths from causes related to SARS-CoV-2 in the province.
Critical bed occupancy
So far, 107 people have been hospitalized in beds in critical units for Covid-19 adults, which represents 8.06% of the total beds in the public and private sectors of the province of Córdoba.

During this health strategy, a total of 2,751 studies were carried out, 727 swabs (PCR), 31 rapid tests and 1,993 serological tests. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 166,586 swabs have been performed in Córdoba.
