From today there are 17 yellow regions, with the addition of Sardinia and Trentino. In the most at-risk cases, restrictive measures have been enacted at the local level.

The restrictions:

  • Umbria: From 8 to 21 February the entire province of Perugia and 6 municipalities in the Ternano area enter the red zone;
  • Tuscany: From 8 to 15 February the «Chiusi area» enters the red zone: all schools of all levels and levels are closed;
  • Abruzzo: Distance learning for high schools throughout the region. The area of ​​Tocco da Casauria will be red;
  • Sicily: From 5 February Tortorici is in the red zone, in the province of Messina;
  • Alto Adige: From Monday 8 to Sunday 28 February it will be in lockdown: closed bars, restaurants and numerous shops, but also some hotels. From Monday 8 February, distance learning for middle and high schools starts, from Wednesday 10 February for elementary schools.

Overall, therefore, the breakdown of the Regions and Autonomous Provinces in the yellow, orange and red areas is as follows, starting from 8 February:

  • yellow area: Abruzzo, Calabria, Campania, Basilicata, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Lombardy, Liguria, Marche, Molise, Piedmont, Sardinia, Trentino, Tuscany, Valle d’Aosta, Veneto,
  • orange area: Puglia, Sicily, Umbria.
  • area rossa: no Region
  • lockdown: South Tyrol (until February 28)
