The prefecture of Gers announces that four people, tested positive for Coronavirus Covid-19, are placed in isolation at their home. Their state of health does not cause concern. In addition, in the neighboring department of Landes, a free screening campaign will be launched this Wednesday in Aire-sur-l’Adour where five cases of Covid-19 have been identified in 72 hours. This campaign concerns the inhabitants of ten communes of Gers close to the commune of Aire.
The prefecture of Gers reported this Tuesday 4 new cases of Covid-19 in Gers: a woman, in Riscle and 3 men from Lectoure, Pujaudran and Saint-Mont, without an established link. None has been hospitalized, all are in isolation at home. The ARS and Public Health France, with the Health Insurance teams, seek to identify all those who may have been in prolonged and close contact with the cases detected, so that they can undergo screening tests.
5 cases in 72 hours: screening campaign announced in Aire-sur-l’Adour
At the same time, a free test operation was launched in the Aire-sur-l’Adour living area, in conjunction with the Landes prefecture. Five new cases of Covid-19 were detected there in 72 hours. Ten Gers communes of this community of communes (1) are involved in this campaign, but it is open to any inhabitant of this catchment area wishing to be tested.
This free screening is done without an appointment at the premises of the Synlab Adour city medical analysis laboratory and the Synlab Adour Clinic in Aire-sur-l’Adour: from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday 22 July to Thursday July 30, and Saturday July 25 morning from 7:30 to 12 noon only at Synlab Adour Ville (bring vital card and mask).
