We told you on Wednesday evening: the incidence rate (number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants) has largely exceeded the maximum alert threshold, set at 250, in the Dijon metropolitan area. It was indeed 260.3. This Thursday, this rate has once again increased dramatically. According to Public Health France, it is now 283.4 (data stopped for the week of October 13 to 19), all ages combined. For those over 65, the rate rises to 196.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. However, the maximum alert threshold for this category of people is 100 per 100,000 inhabitants.

8:55 pm Eight deaths in the region
Data from Public Health France have changed slightly over the past 24 hours in the department. Four new hospitalizations have been recorded in Côte-d’Or, for a total of 79, while there are now 16 patients treated in intensive care, two more since Wednesday evening.
Regionally, the figures are more worrying. Eight deaths are to be deplored this Thursday in hospitals: two in Saône-et-Loire, two in Haute-Saône, two in Jura, one in Doubs and one in the Territoire de Belfort. Seventeen new patients were hospitalized, for a total of 431 including 62 in intensive care.
