* The deaths in this graph are classified according to the place of residence of the person at the time of death and not according to the place of death. There is a delay of one to several days between the time of death and the date on which it is officially compiled. The CHSLD group includes long-term care units in hospitals which were previously included in the Unknowns. CHSLD: long-term care accommodation center; RPA: private seniors’ residence; IR: intermediate resource.
