Quebec singer Celine Dion launched a public health message to her Twitter followers on Thursday.
The diva, who has nearly a million subscribers on this platform, shared a micromessage in collaboration with Health Canada.
“’Pandemic fatigue’ is setting in, but it is still very important to follow public health guidelines. If you are in Canada, download the #COVIDAlert app. Let us be united and safe, ”she wrote.
The COVID Alert app lets Canadians know if they have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed positive for the disease.
So far, the app available in nine provinces and territories has been downloaded more than 6 million times.
