In this way, the person who has received the first dose in Madrid must receive the second in the same center: “People prioritized for vaccination for their work will be vaccinated in the Community where they exercise it. Non-European foreign exchange students also they will be vaccinated in the Community where they are carrying out their training stay, when it corresponds to them according to the prioritization group to which they belong “. After those three or four weeks, the person who has to get the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will have to make an appointment again at their nearest center.
If you are going to be away for more than a month, and you have not yet received either of the two doses of the vaccine, you can get your travel health card. In order to get your health card for the displaced person, you must go to the nearest health center of your second residence or your tourist destination and request it in information. You can also check if the autonomous community in which you are located allows you to carry out this procedure online, an increasingly recurring option. In order for them to process your application, you must submit your National Identity Document (DNI) and the health card of your community of origin.
Once this is done, the person responsible for making the card will fill out the application with the data that you have previously delivered to your usual place of residence. After entering your social security number, the heads of the health center will ask you for your provisional address and will ask you how long you have estimated to stay there. When you have filled in all this information, you will receive a document proving that you have the displacement health card. With this card, and with the serial number that you will find on it, you can make an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine in the next few days.
