In an effort to deal with the spread of respiratory viruses such as Covid-19, influenza and RSV, county authorities reportedly making doses of the bivalent vaccine available to parents and guardians of minors at mass vaccination centers and local clinics.
Children aged 6 months to 5 years who have received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine can receive the updated booster of Moderna (bivalent) two months after completing the vaccination schedule.
In the case of minors who have received the Pfizer vaccine, they will not be able to receive the bivalent dose at this time, the combination of the two vaccines being authorized.
