Covid, 128 thousand doses of Pfizer vaccine and 27 thousand of Astrazeneca are arriving in Sardinia

On the island at the moment we march with 8,100 doses per day

CAGLIARI. For the third consecutive day, Sardinia is above the required target of 8,100 vaccines per day. Yesterday 10,752 doses were administered in the various hubs of the island. There are some differences with respect to the numbers recorded in the Government’s open data: it is – the Ansa learns – a technical problem linked to the transmission of data that concerns all the Regions. By April 15, as recommended by the commissioner structure led by General Figliuolo, it will be necessary to reach 12 thousand inoculations per day, to 17 thousand by the end of the month.

“Now we even have to slow down and stay within the parameters because we have run out of Pfizer vaccines that will arrive next Thursday,” explains Ats Commissioner Massimo Temussi. 13,100 doses of Moderna were delivered on 2 April, 37,500 from AstraZeneca on 3, 40,950 from Pfizer on 6.

Expected next deliveries: of Pfizer 43,290 on April 14, 43,290 on 21 and 42,100 on 28 for a total of 128 thousand doses; as well as 27,200 from Astrazeneca (4,600 on 12th, 8,500 between 11th and 17th, 14,100 between 18th and 24th). Meanwhile, the island is advancing in the ranking of the regions that have inoculated more doses on the basis of those received. To date, 312,494 have been administered out of 402,820 received: 77.6%. Worse are Puglia, Calabria and Basilicata. (Handle).
