A hearing will be held in a court in New York on Tuesday (4:00 p.m. CET) on a motion by Britain’s Prince Andrew to dismiss a lawsuit against him for the sexual abuse of a minor.

Plaintiff Virginia Giuffre accuses Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her more than 20 years ago as a minor. The now 38-year-old claims to have been “loaned” to Prince Andrew for sex by the US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein at the age of 17. She claims damages in an undisclosed amount.

His girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who once introduced Prince Andrew to Epstein, was found guilty of sex trafficking in minors last week. She is said to have systematically recruited minors for abuse for Epstein.
