Coupe de France: PSG-Nice and OM-Montpellier on the menu for the round of 16

We know (almost) all the posters of the knockout stages of the Coupe de France. The drawing of lots, carried out this Tuesday a few minutes before the kickoff of the derby of the north Lens-Lille, offered some nice duels.

Let’s start with the two “Little Thumbs”. FC Versailles 78 and Bergerac Périgord FC, who both play in Nationale 2, will receive Toulouse (L2) for one, Saint-Etienne (L1) for the other.

Winner this Monday on the lawn of Vannes (0-4), PSG will challenge OGC Nice at the Parc des Princes. Certainly the shock of these round of 16. The two teams had parted in a draw (0-0) on December 1 in Ligue 1.

Olympique de Marseille also fell heavily with the reception of Montpellier, the team in form this mid-season (5th in L1) carried a great Téji Savanier. As for AS Monaco, now led by Belgian Philippe Clément, it will go to the lawn of Lens or Losc. The two teams face each other this Tuesday evening at the Bollaert stadium.

As a reminder, this next round will take place in three big weeks, the weekend of January 29 and 30. It remains to be seen whether these matches will be as disrupted by the cases of Covid-19 contamination and health restrictions as the last four days.

The full draw

Versailles – Toulouse

Bergerac – Saint-Etienne

Marseilles – Montpellier
