Polish company CD Projekt has released its financial report for the third quarter of 2022, which has become the most profitable in the company’s history. And the main role in this was played by the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series, which not only brought money to the studio, but also boosted the sales of Cyberpunk 2077:
Financially, the third quarter was the best in CD Projekt’s history. The consolidated profit of PLN 246 million was achieved mainly due to good sales of Cyberpunk 2077. The group’s net profit was PLN 99 million.
At the same time, the company has published a presentation in which it once again lists all six games in development, and updates the data on employee distribution within CD Projekt RED:
The most curious was the slide dedicated to the remake of The Witcher – as it turned out, an open world will appear in it. In the original game, there were several rather large locations, but they did not reach the full-fledged open world.
The studio’s next game will be a next-gen version of The Witcher 3, which will be released on PC and consoles on December 14th.
