Well-distributed rainfall in space and time is the prayerful wish of the Director General of SOFITEX Boubacar Seye and his collaborators, in particular the National Union of Cotton Producers of Burkina Faso, SN-CITEC, FILSAH, for a good agricultural campaign in general, for the cotton sector in particular, for this 2023-2024 campaign.
Object of their presence in the Dioulasso-ba mosque on this afternoon of Thursday, May 25, 2023. “It is a custom for us to come here to the Dioulasso-ba mosque, and implore the goodness of God to grant us good rainfall. For this year, our objective is to reach 600,000 tons of cotton. Achieving this forecast requires, among other things, good rainfall in time and space,” suggested Boubacar Seye, Director General of SOFITEX.
The prayer, which was led by Imam Siaka Sanou, was attended by administrative authorities (Adama Bidiga, High Commissioner of the Houet province), economic operators as well as the participation of the Muslim community of Bobo-Dioulasso.
