Côte-d’Or Prefecture Prohibits Traffic on A6 After Blocking Action – January 28, 2024

Following a blocking action this Sunday, January 28, 2024 on the A6 at Pouilly-en-Auxois, the Côte-d’Or prefecture decided by prefectural decree and in order to guarantee the safety of users and demonstrators , to prohibit traffic in both directions on the A6 between Pouilly-en-Auxois and Beaune Nord (exit 24 Saint-Nicolas) and to adapt traffic conditions as follows:

  • Users coming from Yonne and going towards Dijon and Lyon must exit at Bierre-lès-Semur (exit no. 23) and continue on the RD70 towards Vitteaux then the RD905 towards Sombernon until taking the A38 towards Dijon-Lyon;
  • Users coming from the south and going towards Dijon and Paris must take the A31 at Beaune Sud before joining the Dijon North link (LiNO) then the A38 towards Paris and then take the RD905 towards de Vitteaux then the RD70 and take the A6 at broadcaster no. 23 in Bierre-lès-Semur.

These measures are subject to change depending on the situation.

The Côte-d’Or prefecture recommends that users:
postpone any non-essential travel and favor teleworking,
adapt the speed and respect the alternative routes indicated,
stay informed of developments in the situation by consulting official information on the road via the website www.bison-fute.gouv.fr and by listening to Autoroute Info 107.7 and by following @Prefet21_BFC on X (Twitter)
