Fight against illiteracy: setting up digital workshops and strengthening the team of digital advisers

In accordance with the commitments made, the Department provides municipalities and communities of municipalities with an offer for digital services and we are continuing our actions to fight against illectronism so that all Côte-d’Oriens can acculturate to digital uses.

The many workshops and training courses that we offer in the municipalities have been so successful that we are expanding our team of digital advisers. We are recruiting two new advisers, which will bring the workforce to 7 people, to meet the growing demand from local authorities.

And we have agreements with the municipalities to make these meetings permanent, which allow users to better understand digital tools and uses.

Through these measures, the Department confirms its commitment to reduce the difficulties linked to digital technology, to offer quality, simple and inclusive public services, and to fight against the digital divide.

The dynamic is good in the department, with a large network of the territory in spaces labeled Maisons France Services Côte-d’Or and digital public spaces Côte-d’Or. We will maintain our efforts as long as necessary to go even further and support those who need it towards digital autonomy.

Launch of the “Côte-d’Or Land of Games” meetings

The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games are now happening in Côte-d’Or! We are committed to promoting the sporting world through this planetary event, which will be held in the summer of 2024.

In this context, we are organizing the 1st Village Côte-d’Or Terre de Jeux this Saturday, April 8 in Is-sur-Tille. This village will bring together sports committees and clubs, which will be happy to introduce you to the different disciplines represented. Come many! Other editions of the Village Côte-d’Or Terre de Jeux will be offered between now and the launch of the 2024 Olympic Games.

We have also entered into a partnership with the city of Dijon, a stage city for the Olympic torch relay. We will have to wait a little longer to know the route that the flame will take on the roads of Côte-d’Or… our desire being to honor the remarkable sites of our department during its visit in the summer of 2024.

Support for agriculture: developing local sectors while preserving our environment

Aware of the challenges affecting our agriculture and concerned with adapting our production methods to the ecological and environmental transition, the Department has voted to continue its multi-annual framework agreement 2020-2025 with the Chamber of Agriculture of the Côte-d’ Gold.

The Department is investing 15 million euros over a period of 5 years to support all players and local sectors.

During this Standing Committee, we granted €520,000 in aid distributed as follows:

€22,000 to the wine industry to support the development and transformation of vines in Côte-d’Or and to fight against their decline
· €90,000 to the Sanitary Defense Group as part of its actions to combat the development of animal diseases.

Renewal of the partnership with the Heritage Foundation: support the restoration of buildings not protected as Historic Monuments and facades

The protection and restoration of the architectural heritage is essential to enhance our towns and villages and make them ever more attractive. This is why we have entered into a partnership with the Fondation du Patrimoine, allowing us to intervene with private owners, in addition to our plans for local authorities.

In 2023, we are paying €60,000 to the Heritage Foundation to support exterior restoration operations on buildings not protected as Historic Monuments.

Always with a view to revitalizing town centres, we are renewing the Façades Fund. We have entered into an agreement with the towns of Saulieu and Montbard, registered in the Small Towns of Tomorrow programme, so that they can benefit from this system.

Aid for the acquisition of electrically assisted bicycles: nearly 5,000 requests!

Launched in the spring of 2021, our assistance system for the acquisition of electric bikes is increasingly attractive to Côte-d’Oriens! Without a doubt, we have hit the mark since this device is simply acclaimed!

The flat-rate aid amounts to €250 for all Côte-d’Oriens who wish to acquire an electric bicycle and use it for their daily trips. It is increased to €350 when the bike is produced or assembled in Côte-d’Or.

During this Standing Committee, we granted 119 new aids in favor of as many Côte-d’Oriens, for a total amount of €30,650. In total, since the adoption of this system, 4,766 applications have been approved. This shows the enthusiasm of the Côte-d’Oriens for this mode of travel and the relevance of our help.
