APEF, the network of personal assistance service experts has more than 110 agencies in France and 30 years of experience. The company is looking to strengthen its teams – 3,600 employees today – to meet the growing demand for support in the sector. APEF is recruiting and making it known: 1,000 positions are to be filled in France, including 10 in Côte d’Or, in Dijon.
Of public utility, the jobs of the home are however confronted with a lack of recognition and with strong difficulties of recruitment. To respond to this and facilitate the hiring of its future employees, the APEF company invites candidates to go to the APEF agency near them. A job as a carer, housekeeper, child minder or gardener awaits them.

The profiles sought
Retraining, students, retirees… The diversity of applicants is an asset for APEF, regardless of age or skill level. Above all, APEF agencies are looking for goodwill and interpersonal skills. The workers are there to support people with loss of autonomy or provide comfort to families. In addition, recruitment concerns all APEF agencies in France as well as head office departments near Montpellier, where sales advisers are sought.
Positions to be filled: carer, housekeeper, child minder and gardener. Permanent, full-time or part-time. Agencies also recruit ADVF work-study trainees (family life assistants) with possible recruitment on permanent contracts at the end of the training. This recruitment operation completes the one already carried out last year. In 2021, the APEF network recruited more than 1,000 people: 780 in its franchise agencies and 290 in its branches.
