She went to the emergency room last Monday with severe pain, dysentery and vomiting, but after the visit the doctors had discharged her. The woman, a 34-year-old in the sixth month of pregnancy, since the pain in her abdomen persisted, returned to the hospital the following Wednesday. This time she was hospitalized but on Thursday evening, around 9 pm, she died together with the baby she was carrying in her womb.

happened in the gynecology department of the Annunziata hospital in Cosenza. An autopsy will be carried out on the body of the woman, originally from Lombards. The prosecutor has in fact opened an investigation and ordered the seizure of the medical record to clarify the causes of death. The woman’s family members asked for the intervention of the judiciary. Meanwhile, the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, has arranged for an inspection to be sent to the hospital of the Annunziata in Cosenza.
