ENTERTAINMENT – Stupor and nervousness this Saturday March 21 in front of “The Voice”. In unison, viewers noticed that the program broadcast on TF1 lasted much shorter than usual. What Nikos Aliagas confirmed in the process, explaining the reason: the coronavirus.

As the presenter reminded at the beginning of the evening, the program broadcast on Saturday was recorded well before measures limiting gatherings are taken.

However, despite this early registration, this Saturday’s bonus lasted just over an hour.

At the end of the program, Nikos Aliagas explained the reasons for this shortened program: “To continue to offer new numbers for as long as possible, TF1 and ITV Studios did not opt for the rerun solution and decided reduce the length of the show, ”said the presenter.

Concretely, this means that TF1 has decided to review the editing of the programs already pre-recorded, to shorten them if possible and thus save time, before the semi-final and the final which were originally intended to be broadcast live mid- April.

As explained by a source of production in HuffPost, so there will be another episode devoted to “battles” after this Saturday’s show and no less than four knockout shows. Enough to allow production teams and the chain to adapt their strategy, depending on the evolution of the pandemic and measures taken in France.
