This future antidote to COVID-19, being developed by the British-Swedish concern AstraZeneca, has just entered USA in the advanced phase of clinical trials. 3 billion vaccines a year

AstraZeneca has already signed production agreements with some countries, including Russia. The goal is to achieve an annual production of around 3 billion doses of the vaccine. Also a few weeks ago European Union agreed with the concern a contract for the supply of 400 doses.

It is possible that the plant in Illertissen, Bavaria, will also produce the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine in the future. Although the substance remained in Russia approved for use, but tests have not shown compliance with international standards.
