Coronavirus: the list of departments in a vulnerable situation

Data on the coronavirus situation in France continues to be closely monitored. More and more departments are once again becoming areas of vigilance due to the active circulation of the virus. This Monday, August 24, 2020, 42 departments are in a vulnerable situation. The entire Ile de France is now concerned.

Regarding the development of the situation Monday 24 august 2020, there are 1,955 new ones confirmed cases in 24 hours. There are therefore a total of at least 244,854 people affected by coronavirus since the start of the epidemic in France. On August 24, 2020, there are 4,690 people hospitalized in France, i.e. 55 less than Friday and 399 patients in intensive care, 20 more than Friday. 15 people are deceased in France during the last 24 hours or 30,528 in total.

42 departments are in vulnerable situation :

  • High level : Bouches-du-Rhône, Gironde, Guyana, Hérault, Loiret, Paris, Rhône, Sarthe, Seine-Saint-Denis and the Val de Marne
  • Moderate level: Alpes-Maritimes, Alpes de Hautes-Provence, Bas-Rhin, Dawn, Drôme, Essonne, Gard, Haute-Garonne, Haute-Savoie, Hautes Pyrénées, Hauts-de-Seine,Ille-et-Vilaine, Isère, Eure-et-Loire, Indre and Loire,Mayenne, Mayotte, Meurthe-et-Moselle, North, Oise, Atlantic Pyrenees, Meeting, Maine-et-Loire, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin, Seine et Marne, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Val d’Oise, Where, Vaucluse and Yvelines
