On March 21, Georgia introduced a state of emergency due to the threat of the spread of COVID-19. All residents of the country are encouraged to stay at home – this is the only way to protect yourself and loved ones. From March 31, curfew was imposed throughout Georgia from 21:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The first coronavirus infection in Georgia was recorded on February 26. By this time, 456 people were diagnosed with COVID-19 in the country, 139 of them recovered, five patients died.
