The traditional one Birthday parade the British Queen Elizabeth II (93), Trooping the Color, will not take place as usual this year. Buckingham Palace announced on Friday. The event with hundreds of guardsmen in the center London should have taken place on June 13th. Now “a number of options are being considered,” the statement said.
The highlight of the parade is when the Royals show themselves to the cheering crowd on the balcony of the Buckingham Palace and planes of the Royal Air Force thunder over the castle. The spectacle traditionally takes place in June due to the better weather. The queen’s actual birthday is already on April 21.
