Madrid already has a calendar for the end of the academic year of the universities of the community. The classes, which will continue to be taught in person, as happens from March 11, will end between April 30 and May 29. The final exams will take place between May 4 and June 30 and the extraordinary call will take place in June, July and September, respecting the dates foreseen for the EvAU (July 6, 7 and 8 in the ordinary call and September 8, 9 and 10 in the extraordinary).
Likewise, as it collects the information disseminated by the Community of Madrid, some degrees will offer, in an extraordinary way, face-to-face teaching during the months of June, July and September, whenever sanitary conditions allow it. Regarding the exams, Madrid universities have designed continuous assessment tests for most of the degrees. For those who require it, the educational authorities study the option of conducting face-to-face tests during the next month of July.
In addition, some universities will extend until October the performance and evaluation of external academic practices and language tests. For the Final Degree Projects (TFG) and End of Master’s (TFM), acts of reading and defense through telematic systems have been planned and periods have been enabled that, in some cases, will last until November. This academic calendar for the end of the course is the result of the coordination of the Community of Madrid and the 13 universities (six public and seven private) in the region.
