The British Government plans to delay at least four weeks, until the end of July, the final phase of its de-escalation plan given the increase in infections caused by the Delta variant, initially detected in India. The Indian authorities have reported this Saturday about 85,000 cases of coronavirus during the last day, the lowest figure in the last 70 days in the Asian country, within the framework of a downward trend after a drastic rebound in infections between April and may.
