Mexico added to the cut of this July 6, 31 thousand 119 deaths from Covid-19, with 261 thousand 750 cases of confirmed coronavirus infections, according to authorities from the Ministry of Health.
Hugo López-Gatell, Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion, also detailed that there are 159,657 recovered.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Health had confirmed 256,848 infections, 30,639 deaths and 26,295 active cases due to coronavirus in Mexico.
Health authorities also reported on cases in children and adolescents in Mexico, that is, from zero to 17 years of age. To date there are 6 thousand 212 confirmed cases, as well as 109 minors who have died.
CDMX contagions decrease
The Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum, reported that the number of infections by Covid-19 has begun to drop in Mexico City, although, she reiterated, “we must not let our guard down and we must continue with preventive sanitary measures.”
With graphs and statistics, the capital’s president revealed that, in the last 24 hours, the capital reported 552 confirmed cases, out of a total of 52,102.
In addition, he commented that the hospital occupation “It has already dropped to 2,718 non-intubated internees and 884 intubated”, so there is 42% availability of general hospitalization and 54.2% of free beds or beds with ventilators and specialist doctors; that is, one thousand 048 beds available in CDMX.
