Rome, 23 July 2020 – New bulletin on the trend of Coronavirus in Italia, with the numbers of new infections, intensive care, the dead and the healed. According to the latest analysis of the Gimbe Foundation, relating to the data of the week of July 15-21, in our country there is an endemic circulation of Covid with strong regional differences: of the “currently positive” 57.2% are in Lombardy, 29.5% is distributed among Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Piedmont, Veneto, while 13.3% are in the other regions. And, speaking of the latter, they stand out three positive Roman boys after a trip to Capri: the young people were part of a group of eight present on the island between 16 and 19 July. Veneto
There are 16 positives in Veneto compared to yesterday, 36 cases had been recorded. According to the Region’s bulletin, the total number of cases in the area is 19,729 cases since the beginning of the health emergency. Above all, the number of home isolations with about another 250 cases in about 24 hours. There are currently 657 positives, 2,062 deceased, 17,010 negative. Finally 119 are still hospitalized, of these 7 in intensive care, 2,424 are in home isolation of which 22 with symptoms.
Lazio
Two carers returning from Romania by bus tested positive for Coronavirus in the capital. They traveled on the Bacau-Rome route. The epidemiological investigation is underway and international contact tracing procedures have started. “Today, we collectively record a data of 26 almost it’s a death. Of these twelve are cases of importation: four cases of nationality of Bangladesh, four from India, two cases from Romania, one case from Lithuania and one case from Morocco “, says the regional councilor for Health Alessio D’Amato.
