Coronavirus in the emergency room in Wrocław. 50 people in quarantine

Coronavirus infection was confirmed in an employee of one of the ambulance service substations in Wrocław. For this reason, 50 employees have been placed in quarantine for testing. The substation has been shut down, and the southern part of the city is served by other teams.

The spokesman of the Marshal of Lower Silesia, Michał Nowakowski, informed on Sunday that due to the confirmation of coronavirus infection in one ambulance worker Emergency Ambulance Substation at ul. Jantarowa in Wrocław.

6 emergency medical teams are stationed at the substation. The operational area of ​​the substation at ul. Jantarowa is the Wrocław-Krzyki district and, if necessary, the section of the A4 motorway near Wrocław.

More than 50 people from the substation were sent to quarantine and are tested for the presence of coronavirus. The entire emergency substation and ambulances are disinfected. The Ambulance Service in Wrocław fully protects this operating area with other medical rescue teams – wrote the spokesman in a press release.

The Wrocław agglomeration has a total of 70 emergency medical teams.
