Are Val-de-Marne hospitals ready to deal with Coronavirus? Wednesday morning, some elements of response were provided during a meeting at the Val-de-Marne prefecture with the Ile-de-France regional health agency in the presence of elected officials.
It was announced that five unrelated people had tested positive for the virus and that the Henri-Mondor hospital in Créteil was now equipped to test suspected cases with COVID-19.
“Our goal is to increase diagnostic capabilities,” we told the AP-HP. In the Val-de-Marne, two centers are concerned: the Bicêtre hospital at the Kremlin-Bicêtre in connection with the Paul-Brousse laboratory, and Henri-Mondor therefore.

Important clarification: no need to spontaneously go to one or the other of these two hospitals in case of doubt. “We only receive people who have previously been led by the 15,” insists the AP-HP.
It has also been announced by the prefecture that the intercommunal hospital center of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges should soon be able to test (and not receive, as we had previously written) patients suffering from the virus.
