The mayor of Talant is surprised by the geographical distribution of vaccination centers within the municipalities of the Dijon metropolis.

Fabian Ruinet: “For vaccination, let us trust the actors of the territory”
Like many citizens, I discovered with astonishment the list of vaccination centers retained by the Prefect of the Côte-d’Or within the Dijon metropolis. Indeed, people aged 75 and over, fragile people as well as caregivers over 50, are invited to be vaccinated in one of the 4 centers in the city. Two vaccination centers are located in the town of Dijon, one in the town of Chenôve and one in the town of Saint-Apollinaire.
I do not understand this decision. This distribution of vaccination centers, without prior exchanges, completely abandons the west and north of the metropolitan territory. The municipalities of Plombières-lès-Dijon, Talant, Daix, Hauteville-lès-Dijon, Fontaine-lès-Dijon and Ahuy are in fact the areas furthest from vaccination centers, thus leaving their most vulnerable inhabitants in a precarious situation. that we, elected representatives of the territory, cannot accept.
I reiterate my proposal to make Talant a strategic vaccination center for the west and north of the metropolis. Our municipality has infrastructure capable of accommodating a large vaccination center (close to public transport and equipped with sufficient parking). The services of the city of Talant have the responsiveness and know-how necessary to prepare the installation of this center as soon as possible.
Since the beginning of this crisis, the local elected officials have been able to show with professionalism that they were the united and effective relays of the action of the State. For vaccination, let us once again trust the actors of the territory, the citizens have forged with them a unique close relationship that it is necessary to preserve.
