The new outbreaks are falling, but the alert for outbreaks from Covid across the country remains. To worry are the latest eruptions in Savona, Cosenza and Trentino. The Italians have been extraordinary and have had very correct behaviors, now we must continue on this path. To mark a reassuring balance in the last hours is the number of new positives, on the last day 190, but which are not registered in nine regions: Marche, Puglia, Valle d’Aosta, Umbria, Sardinia, Calabria, Molise and Basilicata, also including the autonomous province of Bolzano in the list. But new contagions add to existing outbreaks. There are five new positive cases of coronavirus found in the cluster of the Savona sushi restaurant, which emerged a few days ago and for which 1,150 swabs were carried out in the area. So far 39 cases have been registered between customers or their contacts, 8 among employees, 3 between health professionals and their contacts. Seventy swabs have been carried out in the last hours and another 119 are expected at the Bartolini in Rovereto, Trentino, where another outbreak is feared after three workers have tested positive. Verifications are also underway for the cluster identified in the Senegalese community in Cosenza. And she watches over the contacts of a 17 year old from Modena, infected while on vacation with some friends in Riccione, two of whom are positive.
In the meantime, the verification of compliance with the anti-contagion rules, developed in the safety protocol, led to checks on 6,046 companies, which employ 141,877 workers overall. Of these 1,184 companies were found to be irregular. Financial penalties have been imposed for a total amount of 1,273,600 euros. And the suspension of the activity was ordered for 286 activities. This is the outcome of the inspection activities illustrated during the meeting on safety between the Ministry of Labor and the social partners.
