In the last 24 hours, 462 corona infections have been registered in Norway. That is 358 fewer than the same day last week and 610 fewer than the day before.
The numbers tend to be somewhat lower on weekends.
In Oslo, 125 new infections have been registered in the last 24 hours. That is 185 below the average for the previous seven days.
There are less than half as many cases as were registered on the same day last week. Then the number was 259.

The infection rates are highest in the Stovner district with 1,570 infected per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks. This is followed by the districts of Alna with 1,402 and Grorud with 1,224.
It is still the lowest infection in the district Nordstrand with 307 infected per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks. In the last 24 hours, two new infections have been registered here, while 13 new ones were registered at Stovner.
Oslo accounts for 30 percent of the registered infection in the country. A total of 27,708 Oslo citizens have been registered infected since March last year.
Nationally, a total of 92,469 corona-infected people were registered in Norway at midnight on Sunday night. 656 of them are dead, preliminary figures show. Whether they have died of or with covid-19 is not always possible to determine.
In the last seven days, a total of 6,107 new cases of infection have been registered in Norway. 4.5 million corona tests have so far been carried out in this country.

595,899 people in Norway have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 269,901 people have received the second dose.
264 corona patients were hospitalized in Norway on Saturday. There were four more than the day before.
61.6 percent of the 656 dead have reached the age of 80. In the age group under 50, nine deaths have been reported in Norway.
