Coronavirus: 32 Apple Stores closed again in the United States

In the United States, the coronavirus epidemic is resuming in several states, prompting the implementation of new measures of social distancing. The Apple Stores are not outdone and the closings are linked.

La Pomme confirmed earlier today the closure of 14 additional stores in Florida, joining the other two closed last week. These obviously remain temporary closings, nothing to do with Microsoft which throws in the towel definitively for its own shops.

After one first closure at the beginning of the year, Apple Stores around the world had reopened gradually. However, a worrying increase in the number of Covid-19 cases has again forced Apple to close its store in four American states: Florida, Arizona, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Last week, there was talk of 11 Apple Store closings across the United States. A number quickly revised upwards since it is now 32 closed shops. La Pomme has not communicated a potential reopening date.
