Quoting Reuters, Friday (14/8/2020), North Korean leader Kim Jong Un lifted the lockdown for three weeks in Kaesong.

The lockdown was carried out by Kim after there were suspected cases of the new corona virus in the border city. North Korea has not reported a single case of the coronavirus.

According to Kim, his country must be vigilant and reject any offers of foreign assistance to deal with floods to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

“The worsening global situation on the virulent virus requires us not to allow outside assistance for flood damage, but to close tighter borders and carry out strict anti-epidemic work,” said Kim.

Canada

Officials in Canada say that there is a worst-case scenario of the coronavirus, which is the large number of patients that will flood the public health system.

Under this scenario, there will be a large peak later this year followed by a number of other peaks.

And also, a smaller valley that stretches until January 2022.

Each peak will exceed the capacity of the health system.

Some of Canada’s 10 provinces have reported higher numbers of Covid-19 infections as the economy restarted and restrictions on social gatherings were relaxed.
