AUSTRIA. The corona numbers are still high in Austria. From Saturday, August 6th to Sunday, August 7th, there were 4,751 new infections. So far there have been 4,787,491 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.

There are currently 1,410 people in the hospital, 70 of them in an intensive care unit. So far, 19,199 people have died in Austria as a result of the corona virus. 4,682,297 people have recovered.
Most new infections in Vienna
If you look at the federal states in detail, Vienna is in first place. A total of 1,658 new infections with the corona virus were reported here from Saturday, August 6th to Sunday, August 7th. Lower Austria follows with 1,044 new infections. The number is lowest in Vorarlberg at 114.
