The toddler who died on Sunday (17/7) local time was said to have experienced symptoms of an upper respiratory infection and fever on Friday (15/7) and was declared positive for Corona after undergoing a rapid antigen test on Sunday (17/17) local time. at the general practitioner’s clinic.

The 4-year-old girl was given medication for her symptoms but her condition still did not improve. He fell unconscious on Sunday (17/7) night.
MOH stated that the cause of the toddler’s death had been designated as COVID-19 pneumonia by the state coroner.
“Children are generally more resistant to COVID-19 infection than adults and the elderly. However, COVID-19 infection can cause severe illness in children,” the MOH said in a statement.
It also stated that the MOH, the Medical Sciences Authority and the Commission for Vaccination Experts for COVID-19 are studying its safety and effectiveness Corona vaccine formulated for children under 5 years of age.
