Update from Monday, February 28, 7:32 a.m.: The 7-day incidence in the district of Soest takes a big step down at the start of the week and is 1,249.4 on Monday morning according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) (previous day: 1,322.9, previous week: 1,377). The RKI counts 121 new infections in the Soest district from Sunday to Monday.
In North Rhine-Westphalia, the incidence drops to 1,076.5 (previous day: 1,087.3, previous week: 1,249.9). The Mettmann district also had the highest incidence in the state on Monday (1,775.5), and the city of Oberhausen had the lowest (607).
Nationwide, the 7-day incidence drops minimally to 1,238.2 (previous day: 1,240.3, previous week: 1,346.8). The RKI counts a total of 62,349 new infections in Germany within 24 hours (previous week: 73,867) and 24 deaths with the corona virus (previous week: 22).

Update from Sunday, February 27, 8:46 a.m.: There is still no sign of relaxation when it comes to Corona, at least in the Soest district. The 7-day incidence falls on Sunday, but only minimally. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the incidence in the Soest district on Sunday morning was 1,322.9 (previous day: 1,324.8, previous week: 1,355.1).
The RKI counted 612 new infections in the Soest district from Saturday to Sunday (previous week: 392) and one death. The district of Soest now has the eleventh highest incidence in NRW. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 44,027 corona infections have been confirmed in the Soest district, which corresponds to 14.6 percent of the population.
In North Rhine-Westphalia, the incidence drops to 1,087.3 (previous day: 1,106.8, previous week: 1,261.2). The district of Mettmann (1,773.2) has the highest incidence in the federal state, while the city of Oberhausen currently has the lowest (591.2). On Sunday morning, 22 of the 53 NRW municipalities have an incidence of less than 1,000.
Nationwide, the 7-day incidence falls to 1,240.3 (previous day: 1,253.3, previous week: 1,346.3). The RKI counts a total of 107,913 new infections in Germany within 24 hours (previous week: 118,032) and 57 deaths with the corona virus (previous week: 73).
Update from Saturday, February 26, 6:46 p.m.: According to the Divi intensive care register, four people are currently being treated in intensive care for a corona infection in the Soest district, two of whom are being ventilated invasively. Of the 74 intensive care beds in the Soest district, 65 are occupied.
According to the data from the State Center for Health NRW (LZG), the hospitalization incidence in North Rhine-Westphalia on Saturday is 6.85. This value denotes the number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants with a notification date in the last 7 days for which hospital treatment is specified.
Update from Saturday, February 26, 8:35 a.m.: In the federal and state governments, the incidence is only falling slightly, in the Soest district it is increasing again. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the 7-day incidence on Saturday morning in the Soest district is 1,324.8 (previous day: 1,311.2, previous week: 1,492.9). This puts the Soest district in 13th place among the 53 NRW municipalities. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 43,415 corona infections have been detected in the Soest district, which corresponds to 14.4 percent of the population.

Update from Friday, February 25, 8:40 a.m.: The 7-day incidence in the Soest district is rising again slightly. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the value on Friday morning is 1,311.2 (previous day: 1,307.9, previous week: 1,409.6). This puts the Soest district in 13th place among the 53 NRW municipalities. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 42,709 corona infections have been detected in the Soest district, which corresponds to 14.2 percent of the population.
In North Rhine-Westphalia, the incidence drops to 1,118 (previous day: 1,130.3, previous week: 1,359.9). The highest incidence in the state continues to be in the district of Euskirchen (1,987.6), the lowest in the city of Duisburg (655.8).

This is one of the higher values nationwide. The district of Soest currently occupies 15th place among the 53 NRW municipalities.
