Many Würzburg retailers were likely to have felt a load off their hearts on Sunday after a look at the current Covid-19 figures from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). After the seven-day incidence value per 100,000 population was 41.4 on Saturday, the value continued to fall on Sunday. According to the RKI, it was 39.9 in the city and 33.9 in the Würzburg district. It was clear that the shops could open their doors again on Monday, which was also confirmed on Sunday by a message from the Bavarian Ministry of Health.
