Corona bonuses are only available for a few cantonal employees in Central Switzerland – the overview

The cantons of central Switzerland waive bonuses for Corona overtime. Nevertheless, employees receive money for special operations.

In the cantons Bern, St. Gallen and Thurgau as well as at the federal level, employees are rewarded with bonuses for exceptional performance during the Corona period. So far, more than 100 employees in the canton of St. Gallen have received bonuses of between 500 and 1000 francs. More will follow, because the government has increased the budget for extraordinary performance bonuses by 0.7 to 2.1 million francs, as reported by the NZZ.
