A brace from Tounkara, who took over from Asencio in the 85th, extends Lecce at Via Del Mare in the extra time and gives the passage to the Citadel. In regular time the match ended 1-1 with goals from Strefezza for the hosts and from the former Asencio for the Venetians. The extra time, however, opened with the deadly one-two of the center forward who first beat Falcone with a left-handed low shot from the edge and then dropped the trio with his right on the developments of a corner kick. The emotions, however, ended with Colombo who shortened the distance at the last second of the first extra time by taking the edge of the offside and beating Kastrati with a precise diagonal. In the second extra time Lecce’s forcing is close to equal with Di Mariano and Colombo several times, but the result does not change. Veneti ahead, Salento eliminated.
