The best four from each zone will advance to the quarterfinals.
The stadiums for the Copa América 2021
Nilton Santos Stadium, Rio de Janeiro
The Olympic venue in 2016, the home of Botafogo, was chosen for all the matches there except for the final, to be played at the Maracana. There the Argentine National Team debuted with a 1-1 against Chile, and will also host a semifinal.
Olympic Stadium, Goiânia
It was remodeled five years ago and has a capacity for just over 13,500 spectators. It will receive a match from local Brazil and two matches for the quarterfinals, among others.
Arena Pantanal, Cuiabá
It was opened in 2014 and built for four World Cup group stage matches. It can hold up to 41,000 spectators and will host Argentina at the close of the group stage, against Bolivia.
Mané Garrincha Stadium, Brasilia
Located in the country’s capital, with space for 72,788 souls, it is one of the stages that was remodeled for the 2014 World Cup. It will host the opening match and two for Argentina (vs. Uruguay and Paraguay).
Maracana, Rio de Janeiro
The mythical stage for 78 thousand people will only be used for the final, in which they hope to be able to host a reduced amount of public as in the last Libertadores (Palmeiras-Santos).
