The presenter’s son makes no secret of his girlfriend named Laerke Wiktoria Wendel – Damian shared several cute couple pictures in his Instagram highlights.
The pretty blonde is also in love with the van der Vaart offspring – sometimes while shopping, sitting in the car, in an elevator or at the pool. The two have been a couple for almost seven months.
The two teenagers met in Denmark. Damian has been living there with his father and ex-HSV professional Rafael van der Vaart (39) since August 2020 to work on his football career – with success. The midfielder received a professional youth contract with the Danish club Esbjerg fB, which runs until 2023.

But now it’s time for a vacation. And the 16-year-old spends it with his girlfriend at Mama Sylvie in Hamburg. The presenter took Laerke straight to her heart, as a sweet snapshot on Instagram shows.
There the 44-year-old poses side by side with her son’s girlfriend. Is striking: With their blonde hair, bright blue eyes and full lips, the two beauties look very similar. “Family vacation time,” writes Sylvie.

The followers are enthusiastic – they comment on the snapshot with numerous hearts and heart-eye emojis. “Beautiful” or “Dreamteam”, it says in the comments.
“Looks like your daughter,” notes another user. Laerke also seems to have noticed this visual resemblance to the celebrity, as Sylvie emphasizes: “She’s so cute! She just said we look alike in the picture.”
One thing is certain: Damian hit the bull’s eye with the choice of his girlfriend!
