Cool and Cloudy Weather Expected in Eastern Norway

This week it will be relatively cool in Eastern Norway, says state meteorologist Magnus Ovhed to Dagbladet.

– It will be easterly and cold, with few clouds.

Tomorrow may offer warmer temperatures, up to 10 and 15 degrees. However, the temperature will drop quickly, and drier weather is expected for the rest of the week.

– Easterners should prepare for low clouds. It is far from certain that there will be good weather at the end of the week, Ovhed continues.

High pressure in autumn can lead to low cloud cover and fog, if you are unlucky. Ovhed explains that it is uncertain how the conditions will be in Eastern Norway. In any case, it will be good weather.

Disappointing message: – Strong wind

Sunny and pleasant weather

– From tomorrow, a low pressure will spread over Trøndelag and Western Norway. Strong onshore winds and even more rain can be expected, explains the state meteorologist.

The low pressure will pass quickly, overnight into Tuesday.

From Wednesday and throughout the week, a fairly strong high pressure is building up over Trøndelag and Nordland. In Western Norway and in Trøndelag, longer periods of better weather can be expected.

– There will probably be a good deal of sun and pleasant weather, says Ovhed.

Snow may come

The opposite poles must prepare for a gray week. The worst weather will be in the far north and south.

It can be reasonably sour in Southern Norway and sleet and snow showers on the coast of Finnmark.

In Nordland, there will be lingering weather and presumably a good deal of fine weather from Tuesday. Some clouds at times, but mostly good weather.

– Troms and Finnmark have had a lot of cold north wind, rain and sleet showers in recent days. It will probably linger for a few days, says the meteorologist.

It may snow quite a bit in Troms, at least until Wednesday and Thursday. The showers will move a little further north, but the northerners will not experience any offshore wind, and can probably rely on hazy weather.

The meteorologist warns: – Do not drive here

Gets milder

The temperature remains relatively steady, but it looks like the weather will temporarily be slightly milder in Southern Norway.

– Southern Norway is right on the edge of high pressure, and will experience sour and relatively cool weather, with some showers.

Apart from the first low pressure which brings some precipitation for Western Norway and Trøndelag, there are no large amounts of precipitation in sight across the country.
