It seemed that the controversial choice of Blanka for the Eurovision representative was completely swept under the carpet. However, the OGAE Polska association, which brings together fans of the competition, still demands clarification on the choice of the singer.

Loser fans Janna (Look!) they began to press TVP to recall the singer and send their favorite. Doubts were also raised by journalists running Eurovision media in Poland.
They accused TVP of breaking the rules of elimination and listed numerous inaccuracies of the competition, including when selecting judges. Telewizja Polska ultimately did not address the Eurovision journalists’ doubts.
Blanka herself spoke about the whole situation, stating that she was the victim of hate and that her selection as a Polish representative caused her more sadness than joy. “The beautiful moment of enjoying the success that I worked hard for was taken away from me,” she confessed at the time.

On time Eurovision in Liverpool, the matter around the choice of Blanka was very quiet, during the competition itself it returned only briefly during the press conference with the participation of a Polish woman after the semi-final, who, when asked if she silenced her opponents, replied that she thanked all the haters for motivating her to work. The Polish woman took 19th place in the final in the competition itself. She was third in the semi-finals.
Right after the event ends OGAE (Association of Enthusiasts of the Eurovision Song Contest) sent another appeal to TVP.
“On behalf of the community of fans and journalists interested in the Eurovision Song Contest, we asked TVP to disclose the results of the Polish pre-selection ‘Here beats the heart of Europe! We choose the hit for Eurovision 2023’ under the right of access to public information. We will inform you immediately about the response and further actions taken” – we read.
Interestingly, shortly before the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” reported that a lawyer Pawel Janas asked TVP for details on the pre-selection. However, he received a refusal in this case, and Telewizja Polska referred to the company’s secret.
“Disclosure of information relating to the backstage of the production of broadcasts, due to the entrepreneur’s secret, cannot take place. – The only reason for keeping the information produced by the entrepreneur secret is the existence of, at least a minimal, potential risk of threat to the activities of TVP SA Such a risk exists in the present case” – we read in the answers.
