Cluj resident Avram Gal, the leader of ALDE Diaspora, posted on Saturday on his Facebook account pictures with him in Dubai, where the wedding of businessman Cristi Burci takes place. Avram Gal, sued by DNA for influence peddling related to the state-owned company Unifarm, posted images from Burci’s wedding, from Andra’s concert.

The godfather is Dumitru Nicolae “Niro” who served 11 months in prison, during 2016-2017, for influence peddling. Burci himself is in the sights of the prosecutors, being sent to court by DNA and having the quality of a suspect in a DIICOT case.
Andra and Loredana Groza sang at Burci’s wedding, according to G4Media. Andra was accompanied by her husband, Cătălin Măruță.
On August 20, 2020, DNA placed Avram Gal under judicial control for influence peddling. He allegedly received a bribe of over 400 thousand lei to help a company win contracts with Unifarm for the purchase of anti-COVID equipment.
“Between March 16-23, 2020, the defendant allegedly demanded money (approximately 600,000 lei) from the representative of a private company, leaving him to believe that he would have influence over the officials of a national company, and in exchange for the money he could determine them. to exercise their duties so that the state-owned company buys, under a contract, protective equipment against COVID, from that company. Of the money claimed, representing one third of the profit that a company would obtain from the performance of the contract on protective equipment, between April 14, 2020 – the end of May 2020, the defendant would have received from the representative of the company, the amount of 371,000 lei (through a company and an association, but also in cash) and goods worth 69,940 lei ”, DNA shows.
Subsequently, in October 2020, DNA sued Avram Gal in this corruption case.
Avram Gal was the leader of ALDE Diaspora and ALDE Câmpia Turzii at the time of the trial. He is president of the New Life International Evangelical Association, an influential evangelical association.
