The ASL has provided for the reclamation of the Casa della Salute by adopting two additional sanitation protocols

COMACCHIO. After the response of a doctor from the Comacchio Group Medicine and some health workers, this morning (Friday 23 October) confirming the attention of public health and the Direction of the Casa della Salute to stem possible outbreaks and prevent further infections, 101 swabs between employees (specialists, nurses, etc.) and Copma and Coopservice staff were carried out in the absolute safety of the environments.
The Company has adopted a specific Operating Instruction for the sanitation of environments for the containment of the infection from the Sars-Covid virus, reinforcing all health safety protocols and introducing new preparations for the companies that carry out the cleaning and sanitizing service. The specific Instruction for the “Covid” sanitation of healthcare environments has entered the daily routine of interventions, in particular, after the resumption of outpatient activity.
In the case of Comacchio, the Company has a procurement contract with Copma which complies with what is indicated in the Operating Instructions, applying the procedures rigorously. The specifications provide for the possibility of activating extraordinary cleaning for sanitization in the event of “extraordinary” or non-routine “emergency” events, or, in urgency, as happened in Comacchio, when, upon becoming aware of the positivity of some health professionals , all the conditions have been activated to carry out extraordinary cleaning and sanitation actions of all the rooms of the Casa della Salute.
The cleaning and sanitation of the premises of the entire Comacchio facility has already been carried out and, in addition to the normal planning of activities with the specific “Covid” indications provided for Group Medicine, two additional “Covid” sanitation protocols have been activated on the mornings of Monday 19th October at 9 am and Wednesday 21st October at 8.30 am. Ausl Ferrara – to comply with the rules of the Emilia-Romagna Region for the accreditation of public and private structures to health safety standards – has always adopted, also for the cleaning-sanitization of the environments, precise Operating Instructions, that is, mandatory protocols starting from simple cleaning to deep sanitizing of all healthcare areas: from clinics to operating theaters.- .
