This is the UC Christus Complementary Health Insurance, which allows Isapres and Fonasa members to access extensive coverage in all branches of the UC Christus Health Network, especially those contributors who have migrated to the public service, which today total more than 16 million people, and they seek to continue accessing private care in preferred health centers.
Consorcio’s Health Business Manager, Felipe Allendes, explained that “in an uncertain scenario in the health sector, Consorcio has developed an insurance offer that aims to allow people to access various types of care from healthcare providers. health of recognized quality in the country, such as the UC Christus Health Network.”
Allendes emphasized that “we have observed a strong concern among people about their coverage of health expenses, which translates into greater demand for products in this area. For this reason, we first implemented outpatient insurance, then a product with exam coverage and then catastrophic insurance.” He added that “today we launched the fourth health insurance, which will allow Isapres and Fonasa members to obtain important complementary coverage for their health care and significantly reduce their medical expenses.”
The new UC Christus Complementary Health Insurance seeks to provide peace of mind against illnesses once each person’s pension health system has operated, with coverage of up to 100% in the co-payment of hospital and outpatient expenses actually incurred in the branches of network. This insurance, which can be contracted individually or for a family group of up to seven people, has 50% outpatient coverage and up to 100% hospital coverage, and is available from $21,500 per month.”
This insurance is added to other products offered by Consorcio, three of them with the UC Christus Health Network: Full Outpatient Insurance, which covers outpatient expenses from consultations, exams and procedures, covering pre-existing conditions; the Complementary Examination Insurance that provides bonuses of up to 70% on the co-payment amount not covered by the patients’ pension health system, and also covers pre-existing conditions; and UC Christus Catastrophic Insurance, with coverage of hospital and outpatient expenses for high-cost accidents or illnesses.
On the other hand, there are complementary insurances, among which is the new Free Choice Complementary Insurance, which can be used in all clinics and will begin operating on December 4, and the UC Christus Complementary Health Insurance mentioned above , which is now available for sale. The validity of all insurance is from the moment of contracting and payment of the first premium. All are available for Fonasa and Isapre clients.
