“Congressmen send us to rest for 3 months with more than 100 million in salary, this is an injustice that must be corrected. I have presented the bill 3 times, so that they pay us per session, it is an infamy that they pay us 13 months to attend only 8. There is no solution, they bury the projects, they sink, they do not program them. The only solution is that the candidates who are going to elect in 2022 are required to approve the law so that the congressmen pay us per session, ”said Bolívar, through a video posted on his Twitter account.
However, the arguments presented by the senator from the List of Decency were rejected by several parliamentarians belonging to different political parties, one of them was Senator Ciro Ramírez from the Centro Democrático party, who expressed himself by inviting Bolívar, as The party to which he belongs has done it, donating significant resources for the purchase of ventilators that are essential for the clinics. Similarly, he urged him to buy and donate biosafety items, “and if he is the only one who does not work, I recommend that he dedicate himself to work,” he said.
