The report recommends initiating a political preliminary ruling against the congressman of Unión Por el Perú, on charges of equity imbalance for more than S / 101 thousand and unknown deposits for an amount greater than S / 275 thousand.

“What is mentioned is that the initial balance that Alarcón had at the beginning of his role as controller was not considered. How can we consider his initial balance, when in the affidavit it appears as S / 0? Nor can we consider deposits as an initial balance that cannot be credited as a legal source, “he said in an interview with 20 21.

In that sense, he reiterated that Humberto Abanto, Edgar Alarcón’s lawyer, did not prove the origin of the parliamentary’s income.

Likewise, Tocto explained that 9 points were covered in its prepared report, 8 of them on equity imbalance. and 1 on unknown deposits. He specified that in this last aspect there was no objection by Alarcón in the charges filed or in the report of the Prosecutor’s Office.

Regarding the vehicles acquired by Alarcón while he was comptroller, the Democratic Decentralization parliamentarian pointed out that during that time he was prevented from exercising lucrative activity, such as the sale of vehicles.

The report will be voted on Thursday, February 4 in the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations. If approved, the case will go to the Permanent Commission and, if supported, it will go to the Plenary of Congress.
