Congested in Traffic, Bekasi-Pekalongan 14 Hours

Pekalongan

Homecomers Bekasi, Rudihartono, deliberately chose to go home during the reverse flow to avoid traffic jams. However, he actually got stuck in a one-way traffic jam on the toll road.

Rudi said the trip from Bekasi to Pekalongan via the Pantura route took 14 hours. He thought that going home during the return trip would be a bit loose because of the backflow to Jakarta.

“Yes, I went home on the day of the return flow, because yesterday, the information was that the traffic jams were extraordinary, so many people chose to leave the toll road because of the traffic jam. So yes, I chose in the last days I thought it was quiet, it turned out to be the same,” said Rudihartono when he was met secondsCentral Java at the Setono rest area, Pekalongan City, Saturday (7/5/2022).

He himself just learned of the one way policy on the toll road from Semarang to Jakarta. The trip from Jakarta to Pekalongan was finally diverted to Pantura.

“Yes, finally through the Pantura. From Bekasi to here 14 hours. If there is traffic, yes, at all city entry points in the Pantura, it is jammed. Then there are red lights, markets. Everything is crowded,” he said.

Meanwhile, Rusmono also chose to postpone going home. That’s because he just got a break from his office.

“I really just went home, because unfortunately, there is overtime guard at the office, the wages are good enough for us to go to the village. And the company has also kept me off from earlier for the next five days,” said Rusmono.
